Description
The design fo this tabouret stool was taken from one in Marie Antoinette’s Salon de jeux at the Chateau de Compiegne 1786. This piece has been painted in the manila/gilt colourway and upholstered in a cream sparkle fabric.
These pieces were made to stand against the wall, as a seat, rather than a footstool which is smaller.
