Description

French style Bergere chair, original design attributed to Nicolas-Quinibert Foliot, 1760.
This beautifully styled chair has been painted manilla gilt (a pale cream shade) and upholstered in a plain blue silk. The legs are a cabriole shape with gilt leaf design on the knee, and the arms are fully upholstered at the sides. The lovely gilt detail depicts flowers and scrolls in an elegant fashion.
The Bergere chair can be made and upholstered in different fabrics and colour-ways.
